This little instrument fits on the back seat of most cars and is a miniature of the Karest 1548 virginal in the Brussels collection.  It is pitches a 5th high which is perfect to accompany renaissance flute pieces that I play with Jeffrey Cohen.  Note the two metallic rosettes, the arabesques and Latin motto and the embossed paper key fronts.  The naturals are holly wood and the case is poplar and still unpainted.  Small instruments are such a treasure to carry everywhere and they sound and look just like the antiques.
